Dear Friends,

This week I'd like to introduce you to my friend and colleague from the District 18 Democratic Team--Delegate Ana Sol Gutiérrez.

Ana's family came to Maryland from El Salvador when she was five years old. She grew up in Chevy Chase and gr

She served on the Montgomery County School Board before becoming the first Latina ever elected to the Maryland General Assembly in 2002. Ana is passionate about education, helping small businesses and giving a voice to the voiceless.

Ana Sol Gutiérrez is fighting for Montgomery County by advancing social justice and ensuring all our children receive a quality education.
